Kitchen utilities cabinet

This kitchen area make over was done by adding all same colors of baskets.   This entire area was done very  inexpensively   for $22. In every house there is an area where the mail is received. In this case was the kitchen. In order to alleviate the clutter that mail can cause,  I created  a basket for all mail to go in regardless if its open or not.  Inside the cabinet there is a black tray for opened mail and bills to be paid. The next basket is for all magazines and coupons that sometimes you want to keep.   Once the basket is full you should discard oldest ones.    The other baskets are the things that you usually use a lot.
I found the top wicker basket at home goods for 9.99 and the blue containers were found at a Family dollar for $2 for bigger baskets and the small containers for $1
If you create a basket for all the junk that usually accumulates around the counter top, it will give you a reason to put all mail in the baskets before it hits the counter.

Master closet

New velvet hangers provide extra space for hanging.

All handbags now have cubbies.  We are still waiting on more baskets to arrive.
The bigger bins provide more storage  area for hats and winter accessories.

Linens closet

For this closet I used these wonderful containers from Target and labeled them with all the supplies that are usually kept in your bathroom closet.  Also at target I got the bigger baskets for hand towels and wash cloths.  I always like to fold all towels the Restoration Hardware way.

Master bath cabinet before And after. Organizeddesign4u@gmail.com

I maximized all the space by using these stackable mesh bins from the container store. These bins are great for storing like items together.  In this case I stored all soaps, all deodorants, all foot products since these don't slide out but can be unstacked.

I particularly like these next two units. They are 24.99 at The container store. And the mesh drawer slides in and out which makes it easier to find your product.

Sorted amd consolidated all product to store all lotions together, all hair product andall perfumes  together.   For consistency I use the same baskets.

Office supply closet

This school supply closet was full of supplies but it was hard to find them.  Create systems that will allow your kids to  continue the process of keeping everything in place.

Storage units were created for each kid, for photos, magazines and college brochures.   Recycle the old binders for future years.

Use a label maker to determine spaces for everything that they use often.

Bathroom cabinet before And after. Maximize the space by using units that stack on top of each other.

Get Organized

How to organize a closet?
Start by taking everything out.  Starting with a clean canvas will help you prioritize what should go in.  Try to eliminate what doesnt fit or what you have not worn in more than 6 months.
I always like use a shoe organizer to store scarves, hats and gloves.  Every kid should have their own to keep all their winter accessories visible and easy to find.

First take everything out of the closet
Sort out all the clothes by Shirts, Pants, Skirts and Dresses.
Try to get rid of old shoes and clothes before putting everything back in.
Whenever you have a limited closet space, its ok to use shoe hanging units on your wall.

Add extra rods to fit more hanging clothes if possible.
Jeans are always easiest to maintain as a folded item.  When possible hang your shirts.
